There was live Appalachian music, free sweet treats and story-telling of coal camp history. The whole community was welcome to attend the free event and enjoy what they have to offer. Tamarack employees told us, it's a party you did not want to miss. "I think this is the best place to celebrate it because of the fact that everything here is actually made in West Virginia by a West Virginian," Tamarack employee, Jackie Williams, said West Virginia's birthday is celebrated on June 20. The day celebrates the state's admission to the Union in 1863.
